Staying Connected:
Scholastic Esports in a Virtual/Hybrid Environment

Middle & High School Track

10/08/20, 12:30PM - 1:00PM PT

About the Presentation

COVID-19 forced the physical closure of many school campuses and community-based organizations around the world. While many sports and clubs are cancelled, NASEF is not! Esports provides a perfect opportunity for students to build community and friendships, play, promote cyber wellness, and learn in a hybrid model or even completely virtually. Participants are encouraged to come together to share success, challenges, and best practices around facilitating clubs in virtual or hybrid environments.

He grew his roots as an instructor for various non-profits, taught English in South Korea, volunteered as a virtual educator for students in India, and designed a statewide STEM enrichment program for expanded learning centers in California.
