Pre-keynote Panel:
Confronting Racisim

10/07/20, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM PT

About the Presentation

With the renewed outrage and engagement in the Black Lives Matter movement, the UCI Esports Conference would like to contribute to the conversation around how we can help make esports a safe and welcoming space for Black people. To appropriately highlight this topic, we are hosting this conversation in advance of the main conference with Black leaders from education, esports, media, and pop culture to discuss the current representation of Black people in esports, the barriers they face, and how the esports community, especially non-Black folks, can make a positive change.
This panel will be moderated by Kishonna Gray, featuring panelists Junae Benne, John Cash, Ryan Johnson, and Arabian Prince.
